Wayne Cooper, CEO & Managing Director

Wayne is Co-Chairman of Pyramid Research and a member of the board of directors of Bongarde Media and Kennedy Information (where he served as it's CEO from 1996 through 2003 and orchestrated the sale of the company to The Bureau of National Affairs).

He was also the Chairman and CEO of Vizium, a marketing services company founded by Greenhaven's partners and sold to Carat Worldwide. Prior to Greenhaven, Wayne was a consultant with Bain & Company and Monitor Company in Boston, London, Milan and California (working with leading corporations to improve their strategies and business performance) and managed Monitor's L.A. office and expansion to Korea. Before that he worked at Goldman Sachs and The World Bank.

He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University. Wayne is a board member of several professional and civic non profit organizations, including the Newsletter and Electronic Publisher's Association, The Well School and Monadnock Business Ventures, a local job creation incubator. He is also active in Young President's Organization, AIPAC and various organizations that promote tolerance education throughout the world.


Giles Goodhead, Managing Director

Giles serves as a member of the board of Pyramid Research, Bongarde and TGI (a provider of governance services to the health care sector). Previously he was CEO of LA411/Media Publishing International, a Greenhaven company which provided directory services to the entertainment industry, and which Greenhaven sold to Reed Business Information in 2000. Prior to Greenhaven he was a strategy consultant at Monitor Company in Los Angeles with clients in telecoms, media, aerospace and chemicals.

Mr Goodhead holds an MBA from Stanford University and a double-first in Economics from Cambridge University, England. He is the author of Us v Them, a book describing the tribal rivalries of soccer matches around the world, published by Viking Penguin in 2003. He is a member of the Ambassador group for ActionAid, a UK-based NGO working on poverty programs internationally.


Marshall Cooper, Managing Director

Marshall Cooper is Chairman of Bongarde and a member of the board of Pyramid Research. He previously served as President of Kennedy Information, which he helped grow 650% in five years before its sale. Prior to Greenhaven, Marshall did merger and acquisition and strategy work for K-III Communications (now Primedia) and The New York Times Company. He also served from 1989 to 1991 as editor of President Bush's primary briefing, The Daily White House News Summary. Prior to that, he worked for the Department of State at the American Embassy in Helsinki.

Marshall holds a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he founded the school newspaper and established the Tuck Times Scholarship. Marshall serves on the National Board of Directors and as Chairman of the New Leadership Network for AIPAC. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA) and the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA).


John Doyle, Vice President

John Doyle is responsible for assisting Greenhaven's portfolio companies on key strategic and tactical initiatives. He is currently the Director of Operations at Pyramid Research as part of Greenhaven's CEO-in-Training program. John also helps Greenhaven Partners identify and evaluate future portfolio companies.

Prior to Greenhaven, he was a manager and analyst at Greenwich Associates, a research-based consulting firm specializing in financial services. John holds a BA in Economics from Colby College and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School.
